About Dove Over Nations

Legacy of Faith: The McNally Family

A young missionary pastor named Joseph Gilbert McNally went north with his wife, Elizabeth McNally, and their two young sons, answering the call of God to begin a mission work in northern Maine. With nothing but faith, a borrowed chainsaw, and a piece of land, he used the logs from that very ground to build both a church and a home. For the first ten years of their pastoral ministry, Joseph and Elizabeth shepherded a congregation called Old Paths Gospel Mission. From 1990 to 2000, they faithfully served the people of Aroostook County, becoming a radiant light in the community.

In the year 2000, a divine shift occurred. The church took on a new name, New Bethel Ministries, as that same light began to spread throughout the United States. The McNallys, filled and empowered by the Holy Spirit, traveled across America and then throughout the world, ministering through prayer, intercession, evangelism, teaching, and humanitarian aid.

The call on their lives was one of service, prophetic ministry, and apostolic leadership,

raising up the body of Christ for the glory of God. After two decades, the Lord again redirected their focus, transforming that humble log cabin church into Keepers of My Glory. Through this new season, Joseph and Elizabeth continued to travel across the nation, praying for the end-time remnant and strengthening the saints for the coming hour. As well as receiving the impartation of the glory of God that will shine upon His bride throughout the last days.

Through every chapter, Old Pass Gospel Mission, New Bethel Ministries, and Keepers of My Glory, the symbol of the dove remained central, representing the abiding presence of the Holy Spirit.

After Elizabeth & Joseph’s passing in December of 2024 and November of 2025; their daughter Sarah McNally carries the mantle entrusted to them forward through Dove Over Nations. Raised, taught, and anointed under her parents’ ministry, she continues their legacy of intercession, prophetic ministry, teaching, and preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ until the Lord’s return and for His glory.
